Take God Out of the Box!

Ladies, the time is NOW!  Registration for our WandA (Women of Wonder & Awe) Conference is finally open!  If you didn't get a brochure at church on Sunday, be sure to make it a priority this Wednesday night!  "WandA" will have plenty of registration forms in both lobbies for yourself and all of your friends, daughters, sisters, co-workers--you get the idea!  The deadline to register is September 15 and your first payment is due by July 28, so be sure to pick up a brochure soon!

 

Our WandA Conference will be held November 1-3 at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn overlooking scenic Lake Granbury, and already promises to provide a lovely, tranquil setting for us to gather and embrace taking God out of the box!

Matthew 22:37-38 says, "Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment."  In order for us to submit to this verse and all of its implications, we simply cannot take God out of His box on Sunday and then tuck Him back inside the rest of the week.  We must be willing to completely trust in Him and in His promises for our lives.  This conference is designed to teach us how to do just that.

Now, let's talk options!  There are so many options making up this highly anticipated weekend that I dare you to find an excuse not to come! :-) One-day tickets, two-day tickets, meals on your own or meals with a group, shopping, the Granbury Theatre, lodging in Granbury or traveling back and forth to Arlington--whatever is most convenient, we've got a package for you!  Of course, we'd LOVE for everyone to be with us all weekend so please, please mark your calendars NOW and start praying now for all of the ways God is going to manifest Himself over the course of these three special days!

We are blessed to have two tremendous women preparing to share their faith and love for the Lord with us during our three-day conference.  Rachel Rainwater-McClure and our own Leisha Norwood have been praying over this conference and are excited to help us learn how to experience God in a way that we perhaps never have before.  And along with those keynote speakers, we'll also:

• Spend time singing hymns and praises to our Father
• Have the opportunity for quiet reflection and solitude
• Enjoy some delicious meals
• Find ourselves wishing the weekend didn't have to end!
